Golf Career

Picking up range baskets and fetching golf balls stuck along the driving range fence was my job – and this barter arrangement allowed me to play golf and practice every day. I loved working in the golf industry back then, and my passion for the business of golf is stronger than ever.

When the COVID-19 hit our industry hard, and displaced many of my friends and colleagues working in Golf, I realized that I needed to do all that is possible to help with this crisis. I started researching products and technologies which will help golf courses with creating SafeGolf for many years ahead.

My research led to discovering some amazing technologies and high-quality commercial level products, and this inspired me to launch Golf Course Ready as a division of The Duran Group. Over the past 28 years, The Duran Group has been a leader with new innovations and in developing new categories in Golf.

We are proud to have the opportunity to work with golf facilities in this important area now and in the future. We will be better prepared as an industry for the challenges ahead, and our research for finding the best of breed in every category will continue.

Lastly, we have aligned with the Golf Emergency Relief Fund and we will contribute 5% of our proceeds to this important initiative in the Golf Industry. Our mission is to bring back all of the displaced people in the business of Golf, and to have many years of growth ahead for the greatest sport of all.
